Add all ingredients, minus the Absinthe, to the mixing glass and add stir until blended.

Add ice to mixing glass and stir for 30 seconds.

Add Absinthe to coupe glass and swirl to coat the interior of the glass and pour out excess.

Strain contents of mixing glass into coupe glass and express the lemon twist over drink.

Rub flesh side (the side without the pith) of the peel on the outside rim of the glass and discard.
